Arrival time
Normal arrival time is from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. If you arrive before 3.00pm we cannot guarantee that the cottage will be ready. If you are planning to arrive after 5.00pm please give us a call (01271 850611) so we can ensure you can get access as soon as you arrive.
Linen
When you arrive you will find the beds have been made up appropriate to the number in the cottage ready for use.
We can supply a travel cot and /or high chair free of charge to prevent you having to fill up the car with these items.If you are bringing a travel cot or have asked us to provide one please note that we cannot supply bedding for the cot so please bring your own.
We provide 1 bath towel per person but if you are planning to use the pool you may wish to bring larger swimming pool towels.
A bath set is provided.
Kitchen
We provide a bottle of washing up liquid, a scourer and also a tea towel and oven glove. If the cottage has a dishwasher (Orchard, Harvest, Byre, Shippon, Rowan, Willow, Holly) we provide 2 x tablets to get you going.
All cottages have cutlery and crockery, saucepans, oven pans an electric kettle, toaster, electric oven/hob, fridge freezer and microwave.
The kitchen bin will be lined with a fresh black plastic bin liner but you will need to bring replacements.
Bedroom & Bathroom
We supply small hand soap but you may wish to bring larger soaps, shampoo etc. We supply a fresh loo roll so please bring more supplies.
There is a shaver socket/toothbrush recharging point.
We do not provide a hair dryer so please bring your own.
Food
No food or drink is supplied in the Cottage so please either bring it with you or bring sufficient so you can top up at the shops later on in your stay.
Nearby Sainsbury and Tescos will deliver to North Hill so feel free to arrange a delivery for a time after you have arrived.
TV & WiFi
There is a basic TV in your cottage with integrated DVD player.
The Cottages have wifi provided free, for your basic needs (browsing, emails, social media). It is not designed to cater for large downloads, films etc.
Heating
All cottages have central heating from 15th September to end April. The heating is on between 6am -10am and 4.00pm to 10:30pm. If you would like heating on outside these times or in the summer months there will be a charge of £3 per day. Each cottage also has a log burner (first basket of logs supplied free and can be replenished from woodshed at £3 per basket in the honesty box).
Cleaning Materials
Various cleaning materials are supplied for the loo and kitchen. A vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board are supplied.
On Departure
Please vacate your cottage by 10.00am on the day of departure. The cottage should be left in a tidy condition with bins emptied etc.
